Hemel Athletic Youth Football Club was founded in 2003 and has created opportunities for hundreds of young people to enjoy football locally. We are proud to represent Hemel Hempstead and pride ourselves on being an inclusive club where we encourage all parents and coaches to support good play and sportsmanship. Our main aim is to provide an affordable, fun, friendly environment where children of all ages can enjoy football.

All coaches, managers and committee members are volunteers, normally parents with a background of playing or a love of the game. They are very committed and enthusiastic people who give 100% effort to those in their care.

The club sponsors and encourages all its volunteers to attend various FA Coaching, Safeguarding Children and First Aid courses.

In the 2025/26 season we have the following teams playing in the West Herts Youth League:

Despite the clubs small size it has great achievements which we enjoy sharing and celebrating within the club.
